Getting started

New to R?

  • Install instructions for R, RStudio, and LaTeX (html) (pdf) (Rmd)

Already have R?

  • It’s great that you already have R – you also need RStudio. They are not the same thing: R is the programming language and RStudio is a visual interface that makes it easier to work in R. You can download RStudio by clicking here.

  • Make sure R is up-to-date and that you have installed additional required packages. It’s also helpful to install LaTeX. (html) (pdf)
